Along the highest hillside tiers of the master planned development, this project was to create a series of 21 identical homes for the King of Bahrain’s large extended family. These perched homes capture the views of Al Raffah and embrace Bahrain’s indigenous culture in a contemporary way. All were designed with near identical bedrooms and communal spaces that nurtured their traditions.
